My Story

My name is Jenny and I am in my mid-sixties.  I have gone through my share of life’s struggles and as a result, I have become a better and stronger person.

I am now in my third phase of life.  The first phase of life, birth to 30 years, was mainly the learning and growing years. The second phase of life, 30 to 60 years, was about learning, growing, earning, and building a career.  The first two phases included family, friends, and work colleagues.  The third phase of life is retirement and I am
now in my first year of retirement.  After decades of doing what is generally expected of me, I am now looking forward to ‘What’s next?’, in my retirement years.

So here I am starting a blog and discovering my way through this third phase of life.  This blog will be about me and what I am doing in retirement to stay alert, fit, active, healthy, and moving forward in a positive way.

Retirement is not a death sentence, it’s the beginning of a new chapter where I’m free to do what I want.
